    Pelaburan Melalui KWSP
    Sumber : http://www.kwsp.gov.my

    Pengeluaran Pelaburan Simpanan Ahli

    Kelayakan Memohon
    - Anda mestilah belum mencapai umur 55 tahun pada masa permohonan pengeluaran diterima oleh KWSP;
    - Warganegara Malaysia; atau
    - Warganegara Malaysia yang pernah membuat pengeluaran di bawah Pengeluaran Meninggalkan Negara Malaysia sebelum 1 Ogos 1995 dan kemudian memilih untuk mencarum semula; atau
    - Bukan warganegara Malaysia (Ekspatriat) yang menjadi ahli KWSP sebelum 1 Ogos 1998; atau
    - Bukan warganegara Malaysia yang telah mendapat taraf penduduk tetap Malaysia (PR).

    Jumlah Yang Boleh Dilaburkan

    Bagaimana Untuk Membuat Pengeluaran?

    - Borang KWSP 9N (AHL) yang telah lengkap diisi;
    - Penyata Caruman Yang Boleh Dilaburkan; dan
    - Kad Pengenalan ahli/Kad Pintar atau Kad Pengenalan Polis
*Untuk pemegang Kad Pengenalan Polis, sila kemukakan satu surat daripada Jabatan Polis untuk mengesahkan nombor Kad Pengenalan anda.
*Untuk pemegang Kad Pintar, sila kemukakan satu salinan Kad Pintar dengan cap ibu jari kanan dan kiri anda di atas salinan tersebut.

    Kelayakan Pengeluaran Pelaburan Ahli

Kaedah Melabur Saham Amanah (Unit Trust)
    Sumber : FMUTM

    1. Pelaburan Secara Pukal (Lump Sum Purchase)
Melabur secara pukal ni, contohnya kita letak RM50,000 sekali sedebuk.. pastu kita biar je pelaburan tu membiak dan beranak-pinak selama 10 tahun ke, 20 tahun ke, atau sehingga tempoh yang kita rasa objektif kita dah mencapai sasaran, baru kita tebus semula pelaburan tu utk dptkan cash.. Kaedah ni sesuai utk persaraan, utk education anak2 ataupun pembelian rumah.

    2. Pelaburan Semula Hasil Pelaburan(Reinvestment of Income)
Pelaburan semula hasil pelaburan ni, merujuk kpd pelaburan semula pulangan yg kita dpt dari pelaburan (i.e. distibutions, dividend) utk membeli lebih byk unit..

    3. Pelaburan Secara Simpanan Tetap (Regular Savings)

    4. Pelaburan Melalui Pinjaman (Obtain a Loan to Invest)

    Remain Calm Through Market Turbulence

    Copyright 2008 by
    Public Mutual

In the wake of the turbulence of stock markets in recent months, unit trust investors may be tempted to either sell or buy. However, investors are advised to remain calm and practise dollar cost averaging with their long-term goals in view.

When regional and global markets succumbed to panic selling in August 2007 and more recently in January 2008, the severity and sharpness of the correction was large enough to make unit trust investors ask themselves whether they should redeem now to stem further losses or buy more units at currently low prices. In fact, if they practise dollar cost averaging, they need not concern themselves with these timing issues. Dollar cost averaging enables investors to automatically buy more units when prices fall and fewer units when prices rise.

It is especially during times of market volatility that individual investors should remain focused on their long-term investment goals and keep their emotions from influencing their investment decisions. A disciplined and methodical approach to investing is the key to long-term investment success.

Unit trust investors are advised to buy and hold their investments for the medium to long term. The buy-and-hold principle is based on the notion that a good investment will generate reasonably attractive returns over the medium to long term. This also means that investors are able to distinguish between daily movements in the market and the underlying long-term value of their investments. Professional fund managers buy and hold for the medium to long term as they are prepared to wait patiently over several years for their investments to reach their intrinsic or fair values. For the unit trust investor, the 'buy-and-hold' strategy can also be applied by holding on to a well-selected unit trust fund over a period of at least three years.

There are some investors who believe they can achieve superior returns by timing the purchase and redemption of equity funds to profit from the stockmarket's short-term movements. These investors are tempted to engage in timing the market especially in an environment where equity markets are volatile. Such investors who wish to make quick gains in the stock market by switching from one fund into another fund will often be disappointed. Market timing strategies that are often recommended by 'investment experts' have seldom been successful. This is because stock markets are inherently volatile and are impossible to predict with numerous factors, both domestic and foreign, affecting daily and weekly fluctuations in stock prices.

Investors who wish to take a more active approach with their investments by timing the market will expose themselves to many risks. In order to profit from the market's short-term trends, the investor has to correctly predict the market's trend and its turning points.

Without the appropriate skills to discern signals and time the entries and exits, the market timer may not only miss opportunities, but also potentially suffer the blow of rapid losses. Also with a higher frequency of fund switching, investors will have to incur increased transaction costs.

Investors who are concerned about market volatility are advised to practise dollar cost averaging as this strategy enables investors to focus on the long-term investment goal and not worry about the prevailing level of the market. Dollar cost averaging is simply investing a fixed amount of money in a financial asset (such as a unit trust fund) on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, biannual) regardless of the market cycle. By investing a fixed amount on a regular basis, investors will buy more units when the market is lower and fewer units when the market is higher. This strategy will produce a lower average cost of investment than the average market price over any given period.

In addition, investors are also advised to rebalance their portfolios regularly at least once a year to ensure that their portfolio allocation reflects their investment objectives and risk profile. Thus if, as a result of an uptrend in stock prices, an investor's equity exposure has exceeded a level consistent with his risk tolerance, he can trim a portion of the equity funds and switch into bond or money market funds to rebalance the asset allocation accordingly. Maintaining a target asset allocation reduces the risk that the portfolio becomes too concentrated in a single asset class.

In conclusion, unit trust investors should always focus on achieving their medium to long-term investment goals. The practice of dollar cost averaging and regular portfolio rebalancing are effective tools that help investors remain focused on the long term horizon and prevent them from over-reacting to short-term movements of the stockmarket.

    Sudut FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

    Saya mengalu2kan pertanyaan anda..

    Quote Originally Posted by songketenun79

    1 - Pelaburan melalui akaun-1 KWSP

First of all, kita nak kena tau la berapa baki terakhir akaun-1 KWSP kita tu. Camna nak tau?

Lepas tu, tengok jadual Simpanan Asas kat bawah ni:

    Jumlah Simpanan Asas Dalam Akaun-1

So, apa tujuannya pelaburan ni? KWSP cuma memberi dividen dlm 5% to 6% je setahun..

1- Unit trust ni kita beli berdasarkan harga NAV seunit.. NAV ni akan berbeza-beza setiap hari.. kadang-kadang harga dia turun, kadang-kadang naik, kadang-kadang tak berubah.. jadi, walaupun nilai tambahan pelaburan kita tu secara tetap iaitu RM100, tetapi oleh kerana harga NAV yang berubah-ubah, maka nilai RM100 itu dpt membeli jumlah unit yang berbeza2 jumlahnya..

    Contohnya:
*Andaikan, pelaburan di buat tiap2 30hb dengan nilai RM100

    30hb Mei 2008 - NAV/unit = RM0.50 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.50 = 200 Unit
    30hb Jun 2008 - NAV/unit = RM0.45 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.45 = 222.22 Unit
    30hb Jul 2008 - NAV/unit = RM0.49 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.49 = 204.08 Unit
    30hb Aug 2008 -NAV/unit = RM0.55 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.49 = 181.81 Unit

Kalau awak perhatikan, walaupun tiap-tiap bulan kita buat pelaburan dengan nilai yang sama, tetapi kita dpt membeli jumlah unit yang berbeza-beza, bergantung kepada harga NAV seunit pada hari itu.. bila NAV jatuh, kita dpt unit lebih.. bila NAV naik, kita dpt unit kurang.. unit lebih semasa harga rendah tu dpt cover kerugian unit semasa harga tinggi, menjadikannya seimbang..

2- At the end of the day, katakanlah kita nak jual balik pelaburan kita utk dptkan cash..
    *Andaikan pada hari itu NAV/unit = RM0.60

    200 Unit x RM0.60 = RM120
    222.22 Unit x RM0.60 = RM133.33
    204.08 Unit x RM0.60 = RM122.45
    181.81 Unit x RM0.60 = RM109.09

*Ini kiraan kasar je, belum masuk lagi jumlah distribution dan dividen yg kita dpt, dan belum masuk lagi pelaburan semula distribution dan dividen yg kita dpt.. just nak u all semua nampak kelebihannya menambah pelaburan secara tetap.. ok

Lagi lama tempoh pelaburan, maka lagi banyak la masuk..

    Cost-Averaging Gives a Smooth Save

By Digby LarnerPublished: SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 1996

PUTTING money aside regularly often conjures up images of caution and thrift, and of people building a pool of money as protection against rainy days ahead.

But for mutual fund investors, regular saving offers a host of benefits, even for those already secure enough financially not to worry about the future.

In some cases, those with lump sums to invest prefer trickling their money from an interest-bearing savings or checking account into a mutual fund, rather than investing directly. That way they can enjoy some of the advantages of regular saving — such as ready access to their money —while earning dividends and interest.

Regular savings plans are also convenient, especially for employees, because money can be invested straight from their paychecks.
The key benefit of regular savings, say fund managers, lies in the ability to exploit a technique known as cost-averaging. In the United States it is called dollar-cost-averaging, but the principle applies in any currency.
An investment of, say, $100 each month into a mutual fund will see the buying power of that cash rise or fall depending on how the mutual fund's underlying investments are performing. If the market falls one month, the investor's $100 buys a bigger share of the fund than it had previously. When the market picks up again — something fund managers figure is as certain as day following night — cash invested when the market was low inevitably outperforms that invested when the market was strong, while at the same time helping reduce any downside risk.

Piers Currie, marketing manager with Abtrust Fund Managers Ltd. in London, said another way of looking at cost-averaging is that it can make average unit costs cheaper for regular mutual fund investors than for those putting lump sums into the same market.

In the example shown, four monthly payments into a mutual fund of $25 each work out cheaper overall than the average cost of the fund.
The figures need qualifying, however. In the same example a lump-sum investor buying the mutual fund's shares at 50 cents on the dollar would clearly have bought them even more cheaply than the regular investor.
Moreover, if the value of the fund's shares rose over the period, a regular saver would be worse off no matter when the lump-sum investment was made.

But, argues Mr. Currie, reducing the highs is essential if investors want to cut out the lows. "The effect is that your money is never going to be committed in full at the top of the market, nor at the bottom. Cost-averaging brings a measure of stability to investing as it reduces the impact of market timing."

Paul Barnes, a spokesman for the fund monitoring firm Micropal, said the advantages of regular saving depend largely on the performance of the market in which the mutual fund invests.

Those putting money into historically volatile sectors such as emerging markets are best placed to benefit from cost-averaging, Mr. Barnes said. "If the value of the fund is likely to rise and fall sharply over time, it makes sense to invest on a regular basis." In other words, someone making a lump-sum investment in a difficult market runs a high risk of getting into a fund at just the wrong moment. By dividing the same amount into a series of regular contributions, investors avoid exposing all of their cash to a sudden crash.

    salam,

kalo harga turun..kita rugi tak? kalo harga naik sapa yg pantau dan inform kita as pelabur? (sori soalan basic..sy mmg tak tau ni..hehheheh)

    terima kasih....

Quick fund info, fund prices, stock market commentary, balance inquiry, EPF next withdrawal date inquiry and other transactional services including repurchase and switching of funds.

    Public Mutual Latest Fund Updates
    Updated Fund Prices

    30hb Jun 2008 - NAV/unit = RM0.45 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.45 = 222.22 Unit
    30hb Jul 2008 - NAV/unit = RM0.49 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.49 = 204.08 Unit
    30hb Aug 2008 -NAV/unit = RM0.55 --> Jumlah unit kita dpt = RM100/RM0.49 = 181.81 Unit
2- At the end of the day, katakanlah kita nak jual balik pelaburan kita utk dptkan cash..
    *Andaikan pada hari itu NAV/unit = RM0.60
    200 Unit x RM0.60 = RM120
    222.22 Unit x RM0.60 = RM133.33
    204.08 Unit x RM0.60 = RM122.45
    181.81 Unit x RM0.60 = RM109.09

Public Aggressive Growth Fund - Gross distribution of 15.00 sen per unit
Public Regular Savings Fund - Gross distribution of 10.00 sen per unit
Public Islamic Dividend Fund - Gross distribution of 2.00 sen per unit
Public Far-East Balanced Fund - Gross distribution of 1.75 sen per unit
Public Islamic Asia Dividend Fund - Gross distribution of 0.40 sen per unit

Mengambil contoh dividen 2.00 sen per unit, so setiap unit yg kita ada kita dah untung 2 sen. So dividen yg kita dpt = 200 unit x RM0.02 = RM4.

    Terima kasih

    Salam, Nora..

Just PM saya nama penuh, alamat dan no telefon.
